What should we eat for the first time in Bremen?

05/09/2017

Well, I did not write or share anything on my travel blog for a long time. But now is the time for summer, so my inspiration about travelling is back and once again, I live like a traveller.

Today is 05th of September, but honestly, I have started my Germany trip from 09th of August. What can I say? Germany is beautiful and this country has been impressing me alot. Before arriving to Bremen, I were in Mainz, Koplenz, Cologne, Simmern, Zell, Frankfurt, Cochem and Hamburg. For sure, I will share my experiences about Germany ( in my opinions). But first, I wanna share my views about Bremen, the place where I have taken a lot of time to visit and enjoy.

Honesty, I did not have any good impressions at the first time set my foot in Bremen. After 8 cities that I arrived before, maybe Bremen is the most complicated and the least beautiful city. But after 2,5 weeks here, Bremen has been changing every thinkings of me about this city.

About culinary, if you are a person who always hangs out to meet new friends, travels every day and does not want to stay at home too long, you can find a good kiot to have a lunch, dinner or just a take away food to eat. In Germany, especially, you can see Turkish or Asian Restaurant everywhere.

In my point of view, Mai-Mai, a small kiot of Asian food is the best choice. In this place, you can find every asian foods which are populars. From chicken noodle to rice with Shirmp. The taste is good enough, including western and German people.

Another good thing about Mai-Mai is the location. This small kiot is at the centre of the Bremen, so you can see the centre of the city while enjoying the foods or just say “Hallo, I want to have the number 14 with a cola zero". Don't worry, 90% of German people can speak English, even though they are Turkish-German or Russian-German. Why number 14? Because that is my favourite food in Mai-Mai, Duck noodle with Curry soup which is cooked by Hong Kong style.

So, after a long time on the bus, at least, we finally find something to eat to continue to discuss Bremen and Germany now. Danke Mai-Mai !!!!
